What Is Jaaxy Keyword Research Tool And How To Use It

Here you are, ready to start writing your first article. But do you know how to start?

Probably you will smile and telling that how hard it could be. Right, it’s not hard, but to attract traffic to your website you need quality content and you can do this by choosing the proper keyword.

There are many tools out on the market, and in today’s article, I’ll talk about Jaaxy.

Wait – you will say, but what is Jaaxy keyword research tool?

I’m glad that you asked.

Marketers developed Jaaxy for marketers. To produce quality content, you have to find the most accurate keyword which will generate traffic to your website.

But first things first.

What Are The Keywords?

The keywords are those words and phrases which people are searching in Google or any other browser.

Why are the people searching on Google? I’m pretty sure that you, like me, did a lot of search on Google for various needs.

See, you do these searches with a specific intention: to buy a product, to learn about a skill and so on. How many times have you done research before purchasing a product?

I hope your answer is: many times or all the time. I’m doing the same.

When you search to find a solution, an answer or a product, you enter a specific word or sequence of words and those are called keywords.

Now, you in the position of content creator, you will make use of these keywords by creating content and your goal is to be rank in the #1 position in all search engines.

For this you need a keyword research tool and that’s why I love Jaaxy.

It is essential to take these needs into account when choosing the keywords for which you optimize a site because some can only bring you visitors, people who you inform, while others bring you customers ready to buy.

Jaaxy Overview

As I mention, it’s a keywords research tool which:

– finds keywords search volume – shows how many people searched monthly for a specific keyword

– shows potential search volume – for example, the selected keyword can be rank in first or second place in the search engine results and the tool can show you how much traffic you can get

– determines the difficulty of competition

Jaaxy is not just a tool; it finds related keyword data, that means you will get 29 more keywords related to your initial search, total – 30 results if you count the initial search. Pretty cool, right?

Jaaxy is the ‘Alphabet Soup’ research tool – it will find other keywords alphabetically.

It will also give you an overview of SERP (search engine results pages analysis) for the targeted keyword and will give you an answer why the keyword is in a specific rank position. The report analysis is done based on a number of words, the meta description and so on.

A significant feature is the site rank check. It will show how well you rank for the selected keywords.

How To Work With Jaaxy

If you want to choose good keywords you have to keep in mind some aspects:

– the number of monthly searches

– competition

– the language used by people on searches

– what is the user’s goal

Your task is to find those keywords used by the users when they search for answers.

Let’s take an example. Let’s say that a user searches for a photo camera. It’s your turn to come up with answers to possible questions, like:

– professional camera or user camera

– type of camera lens

– price, etc

Now you have to check if the users are looking for what you, as an expert, come up with and what are the exact keywords they are using.

For this step you need Jaaxy.

If you search on Google for ‘photo camera’, you will notice how Google suggests you some search terms.

Now check in Jaxxy if there are searches for this keyword.

See, there are 997 monthly searches for this keyword. OK, the competition is a bit high, but if you scroll down, you can see more suggestions with good traffic and less competition.

Plenty of ideas. Now your question is: “Which keyword shall I choose?”

As a fresh starter, I would recommend you to target the keywords with search volume (Avg) over 100 and QSR under 100. This is the ideal choice.

Being at the beginning of your business, starting with a keyword with Avg high and QSR high, it’s not an ideal solution.

Your website doesn’t have authority, yet, in the eyes of search engines and most probably there are other well-estabilshed websites which will be on the #1 position.

Let’s face it, no one navigates to page 10 to find a solution or an answer for their needs.

Be patient, you will get there.

Jaaxy Features

In this review, I will show you Jaaxy Lite, which comes together with Premium membership at Wealthy Affiliate.

Using the Jaaxy’s features, you will create quality content that will rank at the top of search engines.

Keywords Tab

I explain to you above what keywords are.

The first tab displayed is Keywords. Which Jaaxy Lite, for each search you make, Jaaxy will display 20 results.

The multi-tab keyword search feature is available only in Enterprise version. You are able to see the big plus sign, next to your search keyword (displayed with green background).

The advantage is that you can make 5 searches at the same time.

Let’s do a search for keyword ‘make money online,’ and I will detail the columns and values.

Avg is the average number of searches that the
selected keyword receives per month. The keyword from the example gets 156.866 searches per month.

You will think that it’s a great keyword, but when you look at QSR, it doesn’t make it a great keyword.

Traffic column displays the number of visits to your website if you achieve FIRST PAGE rankings in the search engines. Again, our keyword could get 26.668 visits, but the key is competition, not traffic.

QSR stands for quoted search results and will give you the number of competing websites ranked in Google for the selected keyword. The result is significant, 263 competing websites.

The selected keyword can bring lots of traffic, but it’s almost impossible to get rank on #1 in Google with this keyword.

KQI stands for keyword quality indicator available in 3 colors: Green for Great, Yellow is OK, and Red is Poor. Even the color suggests that it’s not a good keyword.

SEO stands for a score based on traffic and
competition. The higher the score, the more likely the keyword will be
ranked on the first page. On a scale of 1 – 100, the higher, the better. Your goal is to be ranked in the #1 place.

Domains will show the availability of domains .com, .org, .net, .info, related to the selected keyword. What’s the benefit! It’s huge – if the domain name itself is very popular in search, image the keyword results.

To display the available domains, just click on ‘Find more’ link.

Note: You can easily sort any of the columns, by clicking the small grey arrow under the column name.

You will ask how accurate date is Jaaxy proving and why to choose it over other tools.

Maybe you are used with other tools, or maybe you never used one before, and I understand you if you are a bit skeptical.

As I mention earlier, as a beginner at writing content, I advise you to target the ‘low hanging fruit’ keywords.

What qualifies a keyword as ‘low hanging fruit’ is a low competition keyword, it gets less traffic, but there are many more of them, and they have far less competition. Usually, the people will select the high traffic keywords.

On our case, if you will scroll down, you can find such keywords, like ‘making money online from home’ with Avg = 354, Traffic = 61 and QSR = 85.

The lower the QSR, the more chances you have to rank.

An important aspect when selecting a keyword is to make sense. What do I mean? For example, using the same keyword ‘make money online,’ in the results you can see ‘make money online work’ suggestion.

Does it make sense? No, it doesn’t. A meaningful keyword would be ‘make money online working from home’.

Be careful when you choose the keyword, it could have a great value for QSR, Avg and Traffic parameters, but if it doesn’t make sense, it’s pointless.

Alphabet Soup Tab

With the help of ‘alphabet soup’ feature you will find all kind of suggestion using your keyword and going through all the alphabet.

With Jaaxy Lite, you will get 10 related results for each letter.

Take a look at the picture.

Use the suggestions made by this feature and discover new keywords for future content creation. Save the selected keywords in a list. That brings us to the next feature.

Saved Lists

When you search for a keyword, you have the option to save them in a list. When selecting a keyword, ‘Save to list’ button is available next to keyword column.

It’s an excellent way to organize your keywords in specific lists, and it’s easy for you to add, or update new results to a defined list.

By selecting the ‘Save to List’ button, you can save the keyword in an existing list or you can define a new list.

Search History Tab

As the name implies, this feature allows you to track your searches since you start using Jaaxy.

Search Analysis Tab

As the name suggests, in this section you will find an analysis of the three main search engines Google, Yahoo and Bing.

It’s always better to know how your competition is doing.

By selecting ‘View details’ button, you can also see their stats as well.

You can see results about word count, links on the site, back links, Alexa rank and if they use Adsense or not.

Affiliate Programs Tab

This feature allows you to find affiliate programs related to your keyword.

Brainstorm Tab

Feeling lost? No more ideas? Well, brainstorm feature will give you the latest trends in Google, Alexa, Amazon, and Twitter. Also, you can check how popular is the respective keyword in a feed (Google, Alexa, Amazon and Twitter).

Site Rank

This is an amazing feature. You can easily check how well is your keyword doing from the ranking point of view.

You enter your keyword and your domain name and Jaaxy calculates where your keyword is ranked in Google, Bing and, Yahoo.

You can track your keyword daily, twice a week, weekly, twice a month and monthly.

If you choose the Premium membership, somewhere in 2017, Wealthy Affiliate introduced Jaaxy ‘Lite’ in the membership which has unlimited searches.

If you ask me, the Lite version is in between Starter and Pro memberships.

Currently, I’m using the Lite version which comes with the Premium membership in Wealthy Affiliate.

The Pro version is the most popular. You will get same features as a starter plus unlimited searches with a return of 30 results per search.

You pay $49/mo or $19/mo if you are a member of Wealthy Affiliate.

Enterprise version costs $99/mo or $49/mo if you are a member of Wealthy Affiliate.

Give it a try and start searching for keywords.

  2. Jaaxy is a great keyword tool. I have found it helpful in ranking my posts on the first page of Google. You do have to get creative and do a bit of digging when it comes to keyword research, but Jaaxy lets you know approximately how difficult it will be to rank your articles.
